Architecture:
This includes preliminary design, budgeting, design development, construction documentation, renderings and sketches, and permitting. Architectural services are preformed for many building types including, but are not limited to, single family residential, residential additions and remodeling, condominiums, small commercial buildings and additions to commercial buildings, tenant finish spaces in existing buildings, office buildings, day care centers, and shopping centers.
Accessibility:
Converting your structure or space to provide for handicapped accessibility to all portions of your environment, provides for more enhanced living. This service is not only for the handicapped but for the aging as well. Most homes can be designed to accommodate these situations and extend the time you are able to stay in your home.
General Contracting:
Along with architectural services, some clients prefer the one-stop convenience of our turnkey service. We will take your project from schematic design to handing you the key to your new home. We have also provided this service to clients who have already gone through the design process with another design service.
Construction Observation:
If you are uncomfortable with your building knowledge, question your contractor’s procedures and practices, or are out of town and would like someone to keep an eye on your construction project, we offer this service so you can have a method to check on the progress of your project. With digital photography and the internet, we can easily keep you updated with pictures of your project and the professional analysis of a registered architect.
Inspections:
We have contracted with the City of Upper Arlington to provide interim construction inspections since 1994. These include foundation, sewer and drain, structural, HVAC, fire safety, and occupancy inspections. This experience gives us a unique and practical perspective to construction and in turn, enhances our architectural and construction services.
